For this assignment I decided to focus on three separate subjects: lipstick, watercolor paints, and my tsum tsum plushie (for the laughs.) These are all pretty mundane objects that sit around my room, and in my photos I tried to play with the environment/background to make them look more interesting.

My everyday object was water (with a few photos of walls mixed in). I was attracted to water because of the diverse uses and interactions we have with it each day. I chose to shoot water in some of the various experiences I have with it each day which are usually mundane and trivial, and experience them through eye of someone

else.

The everyday object that I selected were my curtains. I wanted to focus on how the light interacted with the translucent fabric as well as the texture and composition of the photographs. My photography assistant is shown in the last of my top 10.

Extract the Magic- Peyton Shelton

For my everyday object I chose a drawing pencil. I explored photographing the pencil in different lighting situations, different styles (super wide, macro), and different physical states (whole pencil, pencil shavings). I attached 200 of the images taken in the form of contact sheets and my favorite 12 in B&W; my favorite I decided to call Violin.
