For my everyday object I chose a drawing pencil. I explored photographing the pencil in different lighting situations, different styles (super wide, macro), and different physical states (whole pencil, pencil shavings). I attached 200 of the images taken in the form of contact sheets and my favorite 12 in B&W; my favorite I decided to call Violin.

Great job experimenting, Peyton. The top image of the pencil sharpener that resembles a violin is successful. What are some ways you could push the images even further, so that the subject no longer resembles what it actually is? Keep it up!
